The Aeolian Islands, also known as the Lipari Islands are an archipelago of volcanic origin, situated in the Tyrrhenian Sea, north coast of Sicily.
The archipelago consists of the following islands: Alicudi , Filicudi, Lipari, Panarea ( with the basaltic islets of Basiluzzo, Dattilo, Lisca Bianca and Lisca Nera.) Salina, Stromboli (with the nearby cliff Strombolicchio), Volcano The islands take their name from Aeolus, king of the winds. According to Greek mythology, Aeolus took refuge on these islands and gave their name thanks to his reputation as a tamer of the winds. He lived in Lipari, and could predict the weather by observing the shape of clouds puffed from an active volcano, probably the Stromboli. Thanks to this ability, crucial for the islanders who were mostly fishermen and needed to know about the weather, Aeolus gained great popularity in the archipelago.
Day 1
15.00 – Arrival at the airport of Palermo, transfer by private bus to the Villa Igea Marina.
16.00 – Meeting with the Captain of the Oceanis 54 , welcome drink , accommodation onboard.
18.00 – Briefing about life onboard , security and an initial lesson for the beginners.
20.00 - Dinner in a typical restaurant in the old city. Back to the boat, Overnight.
Day 2
07.00 – Breakfast and departure towards Cefalù.
10.00 –Arrival. The whole day is dedicated to the sea and relax.
13.00 - Lunch onboard.
16.00 – Transfer to Cefalù by tender. Private visit and dinner in a typical restaurant.
21.00 – Departure towards Vulcano. Overnight.
Day 3
07.00- Arrival in Vulcano. Breakfast. Morning at the sea ; you can go to the Island by tender.
13.00 - Lunch onboard.
17.00 – Departure towards Lipari.
19.00 – Arrival and accommodation at anchor, then transfer to Lipari and private tour around the village. Dinner in a typical restaurant.
22.00 – Back onboard. Overnight
Day 4
07.00 – Breakfast and departure towards Panarea
09.00 – Arrival. Accommodation at anchor . Morning at the sea and private tour in Panarea.
13.00 - Lunch onboard.
20.00 – Transfer to Panarea and dinner in a typical restaurant. Overnight.
Day 5
07.00 – Breakfast and departure towards Stromboli
11.00 – Arrival. Private tour on the island after a morning by the sea
13.00 - Lunch onboard.
17.30 – transfer on the island by tender. Fish dinner
22.00 – Back onboard. Overnight
Day 6
07.00 - Departure towards Filicudi. Breakfast,Lunch and Dinner onboard.
14.00 – Arrival. The whole day at your disposal. OvernightDay 7
07.00 – Breakfast. Tour of Filicudi and Alicudi all day long. Full board.
20.00 - Departure towards Palermo. Overnight.
Day 8
08.00 – Arrival at the Villa Igea Marina in Palermo
09.00 – Landing and transfer to the airport by private bus.

Transfer apt/ boat/ apt by private car or bus; dinners at restaurant as quoted in the plan; excursion if quoted in the plan; galley for your dinners and lunches onboard ; night stops at anchor or at port dipending on meteo conditions; wine and liquors. You’ll be given the boat supplied with Skipper, Hostess/Cheff, gennaker, tender Alcorr 33, outboard Mercury 15 hp, boat fuel , tender fuel, sheets, towels set, washing machine and every comfort onboard.
